We were really happy to have Joey in our lab this summer as part of the BMRC Summer Research Program. Often, we assume antibiotic resistance for one antibiotic includes all other antibiotics in that class. Joey did a great job of showing that this is not always correct, and in difficult cases, you really need to look at all other antibiotics in that class. Congratulations Joey on a great summer!
